Step by Step guide to getting
a dadcheck® paternity test.
5 easy steps to
finding out the true paternity of someone.
The dadcheck®
service uses mouth swabs to determine paternity, no blood
necessary

- Order
a dadcheck® paternity test - this can be done on the
website, over the phone, by mail, fax or email. Once the
order has been received and payment taken, your bespoke
sampling kit(s) will be despatched to the address(es)
specified.

- When
you receive the sampling kit, read through the instructions
carefully. If you are having your samples taken by a
third party e.g. your GP, please make sure you have
passport size photos for the person taking your samples
to sign, to warrant your identity.

Read and sign the consent form(s). Take your cheek cell
sample carefully following the instructions provided with
the sampling kit. Once you have taken your samples place
the swab back into it's container.

- Place
the swabs and the consent forms in the envelope provided
and post it back to dadcheck®. We recommend that samples
are sent back via recorded delivery to guarantee they
don't get lost in the post

- Once
the swabs have been returned to dadcheck® it will
take 5 to 10 working days before we get a result to you.
All adult parties tested (including the individuals giving
consent on behalf of a child tested under the age 16)
are entitled to receive a written copy of the results.
The person who ordered the test can also receive the results
over the phone, if so desired.
